This intensive three-day school in technologies for rehabilitation offers a comprehensive training platform that bridges pioneering scientific research with practical applications. The program is designed to provide insights into the full spectrum of the research-to-practice pipeline, showing how innovative ideas evolve into technologies that are effectively deployed in clinical environments. The school features distinguished speakers with extensive experience in multiple domains: leading researchers in rehabilitation science, technology experts, clinical practitioners, and specialists in clinical studies development. Additionally, the school highlights the invaluable perspectives of end-users who have actively contributed to technology development, as well as organizations, including established companies and spin-offs, that have successfully translated innovations into real-world solutions. Informative sessions on relevant legislative frameworks and policies will also be offered. Through this multidisciplinary approach, the school fosters an engaging dialogue between science, clinical practice, technology transfer, and policy, aiming to impart to doctoral students not only knowledge and technical skills, but also sensitivity to the rich world of ideas, challenges, and opportunities that shape the development and application of novel rehabilitation technologies.
